Ironflow Desktop v0.14.1

Ironflow Desktop v0.14.1 makes the Files view a real working-tree browser: a git status panel with a two-pane diff, a read-only preview for any file, and a resizable split. The app also gets an Appearance section for type size, density and accent, and Linux users on arm64 get their own build. Update notifications now show you what changed before you restart.

  • A git status panel with a two-pane diff in the Files view. The working tree is browsable from inside the app, with a branch chip and a read-only diff pane (#2013)
  • Appearance settings and an All-files preview pane. Type size, code size, leading, density, tab width, accent and motion are driven by CSS custom properties and persisted across restarts. The All-files tab gains a read-only preview with Shiki highlighting, and the list/pane split is resizable and remembers its width (#2018)
  • Release notes in the update notification. The updater moves out of the title strip into a band above the body, carrying a “What’s new” disclosure that expands the changelog in place, a link to the release page, and the restart button — so you can read what changed before restarting (#2045)
  • A browsable, filterable Other-skills section. Rows in the Skills page’s Other section open the selected skill in the detail pane instead of sitting inert, with a name and description filter above the list. Other no longer inflates the workspace skill-count badge; it keeps its own count (#2011)
  • Linux arm64 builds alongside x64. Both AppImage architectures are cross-compiled and packaged, with CI assertions guarding wrong-arch engines, stray native addons and a missing arm64 update feed

Fixed

Section titled “Fixed”
  • The bundled engine is pinned to a released core version. A Desktop release used to rebuild core from whatever was on main at dispatch time while labelling it with the last released version — so the release body could claim an engine version the binary was well past. The engine now checks out from its own ref, and a vX.Y.Z pin has to produce an X.Y.Z binary or the run fails (#2046)
  • First-boot secrets are handed over through the bootstrap key file. The one-time dashboard admin password was printed to stdout and persisted nowhere else, leaving a working credential sitting in the container’s JSON log until rotation cleared it. Both first-boot secrets now travel through the key file instead (#2031, #2044)
